Change and Release management is accountable for the implementation and execution and ensures operational effectiveness and efficiency of CHGM and RADM processes within TBG. He or she is responsible for coordinating all additional activities when handling change and release requests and make sure smooth implementation is aligned with the current processes and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Make sure all changes and releases are well categorized and assigned for execution
  • Coordinate actively change and release tickets throughout the successful completion IT internally and with the business
  • Help with the root cause analysis and interacts with Incident and Problem Management
  • Develop and document the release strategy for the TBG
  • Build and provide CHGM and RADM reporting
  • Provides training and document process and procedures to all process participants
  • Successfully Interacts on ITIL and help with INCM, PRBM and Request fulfillment when needed
  • Interacts with CHGM AND RADM related processes
  • Take part of process improvement initiatives where required
  • Analyze performance reports focusing on process SLA performance
  • Conduct CAB, TAB and Release meetings with business and process participants
  • Review and access Change and Release plans and track them in the system
  • Communicate all SW Release and Change schedules
  • Help with process related projects between the Dev team and IT
  • Help with business domain administration – purchase, renew etc.
  • Define standard changes in the business
  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned task(s), including contract and subcontractor management.

Requirements

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • ITIL v.4 foundation certification at minimum
  • Tech background is an advantage

  • The Change and Release Manager provides a total system perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.
  • Knowledge in life cycle support, including maintenance, administration and management.
  • Demonstrates a clear knowledge of Change Management, with practical experience in assessing, analysing, developing, documenting and implementing change processes and procedures
  • Demonstrates a clear knowledge of Service Delivery Management standards & practices. Applies these standards & practices.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
